Rants and Raves

Have you ever found something so interesting or infuriating that you just had to share it with others?     Here's a letter from Seth: 

    In the June 2008 issue of VT magazine on page 11 is

    a full page ad from Bob's Red Mill with a recipe for

    vegetarian Quinoa Salad. At the end of the recipe they

    printed: "serve as an appetizer with prosciutto, smoked duck breast.....serve as an entree with freshly

    grilled fish or cold poached salmon."

    It would be great if you could spread the word about

    this outrage and suggest that people e-mail VT magazine and Bob's Red Mill to let them know what an insult this is.

    Thank you for the e-mail, Seth. This type of add is inappropriate for a vegetarian magazine and insulting to the vegetarians that support VT. I'm hoping this was just an oversite on the editor's part, but people should voice their opinion to VT.
